Central New York Gifted Youth is proud to endorse the position statement, Improve and Transform New York’s Gifted Education, in response to proposed changes to gifted and talented programs in New York City. New York City is our state’s largest school district, and the proposed changes, if implemented, could set a worrying precedent for the rest of the state and even nationwide.
